DUST CONTROL FOR MINING, CONSTRUCTION, STORAGE AND TRANSPORT OF MATERIAL

DUSTEX® and M-SORB® Dust – easy to use, cost-efficient and reliable:

Summertime = Construction Season = Dust Pollution? Especially on unpaved roads of construction sites, thousands of cubic meters of cement, rock, sand and other materials are moved every day, kicking up large amounts of dust into the area.

With our proven dust-binding agents, you can minimize exposure to dust and fine particulate matter in a targeted and sustainable manner. Wherever reliable control is essential—whether in industry, construction, or other dust-intensive areas—you can effectively protect people, the environment, and materials:

Dust control and road stabilization for unpaved roads
Storage and Transportation of Bulk Materials (Solid Minerals, Silicates, Clays, Sawdust, Coal, etc.)

By forming a protective sealant layer, roads, surfaces, and materials are protected against wear and tear and material loss over the long term; at the same time, resources are conserved and precious drinking water is saved, as the need for constant watering is minimized.

The aqueous dispersions are optimized for spray applications and are easy to use.

If necessary (due to weather conditions or heavy mechanical stress), the treatment can be repeated to achieve optimal sealing. This allows even heavily stressed roadways to be treated reliably.

Our application experts will be happy to advise you on all aspects of using our dust suppressants.

DUST CONTROL – EASY TO USE

Our dust suppressants are very simple and easy to use:

DUSTEX® as “ready-to-use” version is readily prepared and can be used immediately.

DUSTEX® concentrate and the M-SORB® Dust products are supplied as liquid concentrates and diluted on site with cold water according to the product information to form a working solution.

Apply to the areas to be treated using a spray, cannon, or irrigation system; the product takes effect after it dries.

If necessary (depending on weather conditions and mechanical stress), repeat the treatment for optimal sealing.

DUST CONTROL – Reduced maintenance requirements, lower water consumption

The conventional method of dust suppression using constant irrigation is time-consuming and, given the growing scarcity of resources, is hardly justifiable anymore.

The use of dust suppressants eliminates the need for constant watering and protects roads, surfaces, and materials from wear and tear over the long term.
